Agnes Cecile

Still cant get enough of Agnes Cecile artwork..and im sure these wont be the last posts i will be doing of her art work. If theres one i think i think this woman is constant with in her remarkable works is the continuity of movement..look at the individual pieces its as if they are in motion.
" This is how art work should always be INSPIRING, INTENSE, UNIQUE and BEAUTIFUL"

Title: Some Years Ago In The Summer

Title: The Blue Hour

Where there is water there is movement , light and reflection...

Title: Deep Blue Sigh

Title: She Collapsed

Title: Sheets of Colored Glass

Title: Antimonocromatis

Title: Non Parlarne Mai "Never Talk about it"

This is a very strong image and critics have tried to tell a story from what they see, im going to quote of the critics because i thought that he was so detailed and expressive in his interpretation that it struck very deep thoughts, it made me look at the painting with a different eye.

"Those eyes...i cant help from being deeply saddened by the vapid emotion coming from them . though the detail in them isnt the most elaborate the message in them is haunting .
i see a fight in this piece , a fight that has almost been lost ? in most if not all artworks a rainbow colour palette can immediately evoke joy and peace , but here i feel this is not the case . i see no peace here , i see turmoil . the rainbow has been smothered by darkness , the black is almost surrounding the face which lends to my theory that the fight is lost . the red in the eyes suggest this face has been crying for a long time and the drips of course they mimic tears all too beautifully .''

the artist note : "never talk about it"
what is 'it' ? . .

Design

Theres just something about art and digital design thats moving me these days..I *HEART* IT... i promise to be back on that traditional art in a couple of days, but for now..its art and design :)

Im dedicating this to a couple of art and design quotes that make a difference in a creatives mind and heart to even get to these kind of conceptual images.

Designer: Ekud

When you photograph people in color you photograph their clothes. But when you photograph people in B&W, you photograph their souls.”
Ted Grant

“Design is directed toward human beings. To design is to solve human problems by identifying them and executing the best solution.”
Ivan Chermayeff

“Designers can create normalcy out of chaos; they can clearly communicate ideas through the organizing and manipulating of words and pictures.”

Winters Poetry

"More often than not, the best poetry is not in the words that are written, because the imagery will always write its own tales. The way nature evolves, and the dramatic changing of the seasons, is more poetic than words could ever speak."

Digital Art

I wish i could say who painted this one! but i don't know and its by far my favorite thus far. The softness is amazing and she just looks so vulnerable. I can almost see 3different positions in which she might me sitting in...can you see them?

Its unbelievable what computers can produce. This image was made with painter chalk.

Image: Haley Williams
Name: Airplanes

This piece of art was done by an american girl , she calls it experimental painting using photoshop CS5,i am pretty sure to do a paint like this the traditional way wouldn't take less than 2hrs which is the amount of time it took her to play around and come up with amazing piece . What i love about this image is the blending style she used as well as the strong colors that complimented each other.

Digital Paintings

Who said you cant paint on a computer? is it you? are you guilty? well guess what? you are looking at a portrait which you might have thought was made traditionally oil paint and canvas etc but was done on computer.. we're evolving and technology is taking over! This image is absolutely breath taking but i'm not so sure that the help of computers is good or not it could be making artists more and more lazy and techniques could diminish and taking away from pure talent and creativity. The jury is still out ladies and gentlemen.

' Quando Incontri un Angelo'

'Quando Incontri un angelo'

I stand to be corrected but the direct translation for this piece is... 'When you meet an Angel'... and i love love love it. Even in the Abyss of Chaos form occurs. In every piece i sense movement and tension, this makes me feel good, you see you don't have to be perfect and precise in everything that you do.

'Lines Hold the Memories '

Cecile Agnes
Name: Lines that hold the memories

I love the lines and texture ... One of her many dramatic pieces..well i think. Just follow me and you'll see what i mean ;)

Name: Drawing Restraint

She really out did herself her, she puts her heart and soul into her work, its beautiful...the movement the texture, the emotion. The three faces add so much to the work without overwhelming anything. This peace is so powerful the illusion of movement that the hands have created ..so tasteful if you ask me i *Heart.this.Art.

Self Portrait: Cecile Agnes
Name: 'Others Wrongs
Medium: Water Paint and Ink

Although her eyes are closed theres something so mysterious about her here... and at the same time she seems so calm and serene with no worries in the world.

i LOVE this Sh*t

Ok, so im a first time blogger and this is what i'm offering, my differentiation factor from fashion, film, music and all that entertainment *Jazz. My blog is about art, my love and appreciation for artists and the imagination. Im an all sorts of art lover from music to dance to drama to traditional painting and drawing kinda art. The reason why i called this blog 'The best things in life are FREE!' is because of this quote a cousin of mine said-

"Artists are sometimes seen as entertainers who should provide their services and goods for free. Well, why not avail land, food, shelter and clothing for free too?"

My first post...so here it goes. This image is a self portrait done by Cecile Agnes she's an Italian girl currently living in Rome she describes herself as a traditional artist and she loves sharing her pieces  i just recently bumped into her work on the net and i was blown away by the mediums and images she uses and creates. *uhmmm its called ' Others Wrongs ' and i hope it impresses you like it did me.  :)
